Itinerary

Day 01: Udaipur Arrival

Arrival Udaipur. On arrival at Udaipur, meet at airport/railway station & transfer to hotel. After breakfast, full day guided sightseeing including visit to City Palace, Jagdish temple, Vintage Car Museum, Fatehsagar Lake, Moti Magri, Saheliyon-ki-Bari, Shilpgram and Sajjangarh fort. Night stay at hotel.

Day 02: Drive to Chittorgarh

After breakfast drive to Chittorgarh fort 110 kms away from Udaipur. The fort is on a 280 hectares site on the top of a 180 meter high hill. The most imposing structure with the fort is Vijay stambh which stands at a height of 122 feet and is 30 feet wide at the base. Other spots woth visiting are the Bhimtal tank, Neelkanth mahadev temple, Kumbha Shyam temple and Kalika Mata temple. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Drive to Kumbhalgarh / Ranakpur

Morning after breakfast drive to Kumbhalgarh fort lying 90km north-west of Udaipur. Over 360 temples are within the fort, for 300 ancient Jain and the rest of Hindus. After visiting this historic fort drive to Ranakpur Jain temple. The temple, with its distinctive domes, shikhara, turrets and cupolas rises majestically from the slope of a hill. Over 1,444 marble pillars, carved in exquisite detail support the temple. Night stay at hotel.

Day 04: Drive to Mount Abu

After early morning breakfast drive to Mount Abu, the only hill station in Rajasthan located at an elevation of 1,220 meters. Mount Abu is a home to a number of Jain temples. The Dilwara temples are a complex of temples, carved of white marbles built in 11th century. The five magnificent temples of Dilwara are Vimal Vasahi, Luna Vasahi, Pithalhar, Khartar Vasahi and Mahaveer Swami temple. Guru Sikhar, the highest peak on the mount (1722 meters above sea level), allows a birds eye view of the sylvan surroundings of Mt. Abu. Achalgarh, an impressive fort, which has some beautiful Jain temples enclosed within. Among the noteworthy temples, are the Achaleshwar Mahadev Temple (1412 AD) and Kantinath Jain Temple (1513 AD). Nakki lake, picturesquely set amid hills, it is dotted with several islets approachable by a boat. Of particular interest, are strange rock formations around the lake. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05: Drive to Dungarpur

After breakfast drive to Dungarpur, take a guided tour of the Juna Mahal, the Garib Sagar Lake famous for its shrine of Shri Nathji lying along the lake and the Vijay Raj Rajeshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Evening free for leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Drive back to Udaipur / Delhi

Morning after breakfast drive to Udaipur/Delhi. Upon arrival departure transfer to the airport to board the flight for onward journey.
